While we all love the taste of honey we probably won’t like the site of a bee hive or swarm of bees near our home or business.
They become a nuisance however, when they establish a colony in a house, building, or in a hollow tree next to the home. The sting of a bee commonly produces an allergic reaction and many children are afraid to leave the house for fear of being stung.
Often it is safest to contact a pest control company to complete the treatment of the bees. Once this treatment has been completed the nest will need to be removed. Destroy the comb and honey, if this isn't done other insects are often attracted to the nest left behind. Once the nest has been removed, plug all holes to avoid future bees swarming and making a nest in the same location.
